Happy Arctic Mooniversary! 🌝 A very cold morning shooting this slightly out of focus/frozen scene! It was - 30c and my tech was failing. I stood on the shore of Lake Inari (our back garden) with two of my house mates and watched the moon turn blood red at totality ❤️ My eyelashes were crispy with frost from my breath and my camera battery was flashing red alerting me it was about to be flat. My metal tripod frozen and the plate shrunken in the cold causing my camera a to wobble. I think I took a total 10 pics while outside for 15mins. Too cold to hold the trigger switch, to cold to have a runny nose (bogeys freeze you know!) I grinned and said thank you and good morning to the moon and headed back inside! ❤️ What a way to start the day 😊 1, the scene 2,my poor tripod! 3,the temperature 4,bbc earth! 5,my frosty lashes 6,making snow🌨
